Documentary Collections (Imports)

A simple, cost-effective and secure means of trading internationally
Documentary Collections (Imports)
Documentary collections for Documents against Payment (DP) and Documents against Acceptance (DA) are ways to reduce payment risk to your supplier in a simple and cost-effective manner. Under DP terms, import documents are released to you upon payment, while under DA terms, documents are released to you against your promise to pay.

The secure collection process begins after your supplier has shipped the goods, obtained the necessary documents and presents the documents with his instructions to his bank, which will then send these documents to HSBC.
