Commercial Banking
HSBC Commercial Banking (CMB) offers a wide range of banking and financial services to meet the needs of both large corporates and local businesses. We adopt a relationship approach where relationship and product managers form individual client service teams, focussing on gaining a holistic understanding of the customer's business and financial needs first, followed by customising a comprehensive suite of solutions to support these needs.

Trade and Supply Chain
Trade and Supply Chain (TSC) helps companies of all sizes worldwide to grow their business by offering a wide range of forward-thinking supply chain and traditional trade solutions. Our trade specialists work with the relationship managers to identify and develop solutions, achieving customersâ business objectives and future aspirations.
Being one of the largest trade services organizations in the world, TSC leverages its global network in North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Asia pacific, thus having relationships with more suppliers and buyers than any other trade services institution. This allows HSBC to offer faster, more accurate and efficient solutions to customers globally.

Global Banking
Global Banking is organised into two groups, Advisory and Client Management.
1. Advisory
Advisory bankers provide strategic services to corporate and institutional clients around the world. Their expertise covers mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, divestitures, corporate restructuring, stock exchange listings, privatisations and restructuring. Working closely with colleagues across Global Banking and Global Markets, advisory bankers play an important and trusted role in shaping and executing a company's strategy.
2. Client Management
Client Management delivers a comprehensive range of financial products and services. A people-driven business, Client Management's primary objective is to develop long-standing, trusted relationships with our clients. Its global teams comprise bankers with specialist knowledge dedicated to servicing the needs of our clients globally.
Payments and Cash Management
Payment and Cash management (PCM) is an international functional business that serves Global Banking and Commercial Banking customers. Our cash management solutions are designed to integrate with our clients' business systems and are delivered via HSBCnet and HSBC Connect, HSBC's global Internet banking and host-to-host delivery channels.
Through a unique process of combining the development of our cash management solutions and our delivery channels, HSBC brings truly innovative solutions to its clients. HSBC not only operates on a global basis, but also works on a local level to guarantee that cross-border differences are identified and any related benefits realised. Our team of cash management specialist has the skills, expertise and resources to deliver solutions where they are needed - locally, regionally or globally.
Global Markets
Global Markets offers exposure to some of the world's largest financial institutions, government agencies, hedge funds, reserve managers and corporate clients; and to the full spectrum of capital markets products and services.
Global Markets is responsible for all traded market (forex, interest rates, credit and equities) services to supranational clients, central banks, corporates, institutional investors, financial institutions and other market participants worldwide. We are a global business, giving clients a platform for trading and distributing the full spectrum of capital markets products and services. These range from vanilla investment products through to structured products and customised over-the-counter derivative instruments.
HSBC Securities Services
HSBC Securities Services (HSS) provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody, corporate trust and loan agency and sub-custody settlement and services to the international asset management industry. Singapore is one of the leading centres for the HSS business, and HSBC has a major market share and services most fund managers in Singapore.
Leading services include complex accounting, valuation and web-based investor services for traditional funds, hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds; trustee and depositary services; performance consultancy services to institutional and corporate clients worldwide as well as cash management, foreign exchange, securities lending, corporate trusteeship, issuing and paying agency services, management and corporate secretarial, compliance and regulatory reporting.
HSS is split into three divisions, namely, Fund Services, Custody and CTLA (Corporate Trust & Loan Agency)
HSBC in Singapore operates within an extremely competitive financial environment best described as highly saturated, regulated and finite. The Bank has 9 retail branches and 6 premier centres.
The Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) Division caters to our retail banking customers. At the heart of the HSBC RBWM business are the two propositions Advance and Global Premier which are designed to meet the needs of the retail banking and mass affluent customer segments respectively.

The team in Communications and Corporate Sustainability has two focuses:
Communications manages the Bank's external and internal communications with key stakeholders, supporting and promoting HSBC via media and to employees and ensuring communications are properly controlled and optimally executed. It is also responsible for advising management on media risks and opportunities and for defending HSBC from reputational threats posed by media.
Corporate Sustainability develops, champions and coordinates the implementation of a full spectrum of corporate sustainability initiatives, encompassing sustainable finance, footprint management and community investment, as well as encouraging diversity and inclusion in Singapore.
The objective of the Credit Risk Management (CRM) team is to work in partnership with all of our customer groups to help maximise business opportunities. We strive to promote portfolio quality and to balance risk and reward so that the Bank can operate effectively and profitably.
The Marketing team supports all four of HSBC's Global Businesses, driving revenue growth by developing and implementing highly accountable marketing strategies. Marketing leverages best practices in customer and market insights, brand strategy, leading edge advertising and digital techniques, creativity, strategic partnerships, processes and governance in order to drive long term growth and position HSBC as the world's leading international bank.
Marketing operates as a truly integrated Global Function which provides clear roles, supports individual contributions and provides exciting career paths, training and personal growth opportunities.
HSBC Finance aims to deliver a stronger control environment through an improvement in financial systems and better business support from a Finance team which can respond to business requirements on a timely basis.
