The HSBC INFINITY referral programme

Terms and conditions

• The HSBC Infinity referral programme is open to all existing HSBC customers in Singapore except for staff of the Bank, who refer new customer ("referee") to sign up for HSBC Infinity before 31 December 2008.
• New HSBC Infinity customers who are referred by existing HSBC customers must not have an existing HSBC Infinity relationship presently or one during the past 12 months.
• Multiple referees who sign up for HSBC Infinity in a joint relationship will only be considered as one successful referral. 
• The referee must not be existing HSBC Infinity customer who closes and re-joins the HSBC Infinity programme with a single/joint account or existing HSBC Infinity customer who opens new single/joint accounts, notwithstanding that the other single/joint account holder is a new HSBC Infinity customer during the promotion period.
• To enrol for HSBC Infinity, the referee must maintain a minimum Total Relationship Balance of S$100,000 in deposits, investments and/or insurance with HSBC.
• Customers cannot refer themselves to receive the shopping vouchers.
• The Customer specifically declares that consent had been obtained from the referee, to refer his/her contact details to HSBC and HSBC may contact the referee to offer banking services and products.
• Eligible customers will receive an S$80 shopping voucher for each successful referral if the referee signs up for HSBC Infinity during the promotion period.
• Successful referrers will receive an S$80 shopping voucher when the referee starts an HSBC Infinity relationship with a minimum Total Relationship Balance of S$100,000 in deposits, investments and/or insurance with HSBC.
• There is no limit to the number of referrals which the eligible customer can make during the promotion period. The closing date of the promotion is 31 December 2008.
• If two different eligible customers refer the same referee who signs up for HSBC Infinity during the promotion period, only the first eligible customer who sent in the customer referral form will be entitled to shopping vouchers.
• Shopping vouchers issued are not redeemable for cash. The use of the shopping vouchers will be subject to terms and conditions of the supplier. HSBC is not a supplier of the product or services offered under the promotion and will not accept any liability in relation thereto.
• HSBC reserves the right to deduct the equivalent voucher value from the referrer's account in the event that the referee terminates his/her participation in the HSBC Infinity programme within six months.
• HSBC reserves the right to make any changes to the promotion or replace shopping vouchers with another item of similar value without any prior notice.
• HSBC reserves the right to vary, delete or add to these terms and conditions from time to time at its discretion and without prior notice.
• HSBC reserves the right to vary the terms of or withdraw the promotion at any time without notice. In the case of a dispute, the decision of HSBC shall be final.
