Terms and conditions
Trade voucher
1. This trade voucher is issued by the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd, Singapore Office ("HSBC").
2. This trade voucher is valid for use by the customer against eligible transactions with whom HSBC entered into.
3. Each qualifying customer will be issued with 30 trade voucher, each carrying a value of S$15 plus an additional *S$10.
*An additional S$10 will apply to qualifying transactions submitted through Internet Trade Services
4. Eligible transactions are Imports DC issued, Clean Import Loans approved, Transfer DC issued, Export DC and non-DC bills presented and approved by HSBC for each qualifying customer.
5. This trade voucher may only be redeemed subject to the applicable terms and conditions of HSBC.
6. Only one trade voucher may be presented per eligible transaction. HSBC shall not be obliged by virtue of this trade voucher to enter into any transaction with any customer.
7. This trade voucher is not transferable or exchangeable for cash and is valid for use in Singapore.
8. Altered, defaced, damaged or photocopied trade vouchers will not be accepted. There will be no replacement for lost, defaced, damaged, misplaced or misused trade vouchers.
9. HSBC's records with respect to this trade voucher shall be conclusive and binding on all customers. In case of dispute, HSBC's decision on all matters pertaining to the issue or entitlement of this voucher shall be conclusive and binding.
10. HSBC reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw, cancel or vary the rights associated with the trade voucher at any time without notice or reason.
 
Wine voucher
1. This voucher is issued by the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd, Singapore Office ("HSBC").
2. Only non-HSBC customers starting a new Commercial Banking relationship with HSBC are eligible to participate in this promotion.
3. A BusinessVantage account must be opened during the period of 12 March to 30 May 2008 to be eligible for this promotion.
4. This voucher can be redeemed for a bottle of wine and vintage selection stipulated by HSBC. Vintage may change subject to availability.
5. This voucher is not exchangeable for cash or for any other selection of wine not stipulated by HSBC.
6. Altered, defaced, damaged, expired or photocopied vouchers will not be accepted. There will be no replacement for lost, defaced, damaged, misplaced or misused vouchers.
7. HSBC is not a supplier of the products redeemed under the voucher and will not accept any liability in relation thereto.
8. HSBC's records with respect to this voucher shall be conclusive and binding on all customers. In case of dispute, HSBC's decision on all matters pertaining to the issue or entitlement of this voucher shall be conclusive and binding.
9. HSBC reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw, cancel or vary the rights associated with the voucher at any time without notice or reason.
 
Shopping voucher
1. This campaign issues a shopping voucher worth S$1,000 to customers starting a new Commercial Banking relationship with the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Singapore Office ("HSBC") in their Eligible Accounts (as defined below) between 12 March 2008 to 30 May 2008 (the "Qualifying Period") based on average balance of S$80,000 maintained for accounts opened for the duration from date of new BusinessVantage account opened until 30 June 08.
2. Only non-interest bearing corporate current accounts (including BusinessVantage) opened with HSBC are eligible under this campaign ("Eligible Accounts").
3. All amounts in foreign currencies will be converted to Singapore dollars for purpose of calculation of balances. HSBC will apply such exchange rate as it deems appropriate for converting the Eligible Accounts (in foreign currencies) into Singapore dollars to facilitate computation of balances.
4. HSBC's calculations and decisions on all matters relating to this campaign shall be final and binding on you. No correspondence will be entertained.
5. HSBC reserves the right to change the reward at any time at its discretion with another item or service of a similar value without prior notice.
6. HSBC has absolute discretion to decide on customers eligible to participate in this campaign.
7. Only eligible customers who qualify for the reward will be notified.
8. The shopping voucher is not exchangeable for cash and is subject to the conditions of use by Takashimaya Shopping Centre, the designated shopping centre. HSBC is not a supplier of the products or services redeemed under the voucher and will not accept liability in relation thereto.
9. HSBC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, and to suspend, terminate the campaign with or without notice to the customers.
10. The mode of notification of suspension, termination or variation shall be at HSBC's sole discretion, including but not limited to branch display and statement inserts.
11. Employees of the Bank, its subsidiaries and affiliated agencies will not be eligible for the campaign. In addition, the Bank has the right to exclude anyone from this campaign in its discretion without obligation to provide notice or reason.
 
Telegraphic voucher
1. Outward telegraphic transfers may be made from any local or foreign currency accounts.
2. Rebates will be consolidated monthly and credited into the same transacting account.
3. All remittance amounts in foreign currencies will be converted to Singapore Dollars for purpose of calculation of rebates.
4. HSBC will apply such exchange rate as it deems appropriate for converting the rebate gained in respect of your eligible foreign currency accounts.
5. HSBC's calculations and decisions on all matters relating to this campaign shall be final and binding on you. No correspondence will be entertained.
6. Only customers starting a new banking relationship with Commercial Banking are eligible to participate in this campaign.
7. HSBC reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, and to suspend or vary the rebates with or without notice to the customers.
8. The mode of notification of suspension, termination or variation shall be at HSBC's sole discretion, including but not limited to branch display and statement inserts.
