Enhancements on Business Internet Banking

We are pleased to inform you that from 16 September 2007, Business Internet Banking (BIB) will sport a brand new look along with a host of new features, including:

Term Deposit opening and update of maturity instructions

Streamlined transfer and payment functions

Save GIRO templates for regular batch payments

Issue Cashier's orders and Demand drafts

Submit Import bill instructions and Export DC transfers

Integrated BIB logon page (no longer in a separate popup window)

Full navigational capability within HSBC website during secured logon session











With this new web site, please note that there are minor revisions to the Business Internet Banking Terms and Conditions and the key amendment to the current set of Terms and Conditions is to update the change in hosting facility.

You will be required to accept these Terms and Conditions when you logon for the first time from 16 September 2007 before you can proceed with your Internet banking activities.

Is there a new URL that I need to enter to access the new Internet Banking web site?
No, you can access the new Business Internet Banking web site the way you normally do.

Do I need to change my password and security device for the new web site?
No, you can use your existing password and security device.

Do I need to re-enter all my future dated or recurring transactions value on or after 16 September 2007?
No, they will be migrated to the new web site automatically.

Do I need to pay to enjoy the upgraded services?
Your existing payment arrangement and tariffs will apply. No extra charges will be levied for the usage of the new web site.

What are the changes to the Transfer and Payment functions?
1) Transfers and Priority Payments will be merged into a single function called 'Transfers'. This function allows you to:

transfer funds within your own accounts in HSBC Singapore
transfer funds to other HSBC Singapore accounts
make payments to local ('MEPS') and overseas beneficiaries ('Telegraphic Transfers')
issue cashier's orders or demand drafts

Also, Priority Payment Beneficiary lists will be termed as 'Saved Transfers' and will be migrated for you to the new web site.

2) Bill payments will now include a new function to pay multiple bills at the same time for your convenience.

3) GIRO payments is now enhanced to enable you to save a set of GIRO beneficiaries as a GIRO template for your regular batch payments.
