| Card Protection Plus offers you insurance protection and assistance for lost or stolen cards and documents. This is exclusively offered to HSBC credit cardholders. |

| Card Protection Plus is provided by Card Protection Plan Limited ("CPP") and underwritten by HSBC Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Limited. |

| When you realise that your wallet is missing, it's a race against time to have all your cards stopped immediately. This is to prevent any fraudulent transactions put on your cards that you are liable for. With Card Protection Plus, all it takes is a call to CPP's customer service team and they will contact your card issuers to have all your cards cancelled within minutes to prevent any misuse. In addition, with overseas assistance services including advances of cash, hotel bill payment and travel tickets replacement, CPP will help you get home wherever you are in the world. |

The Card Protection Plus offers a number of benefits to the policyholder: -
A welcome pack will be sent to you which includes a Policy Guide listing the benefits you are entitled to as well as a copy of the Policy terms and conditions. |

CPP has two types of policies for you to choose from:

| 7. | How can I pay for my policy? | ||||||||||
| We accept payment by HSBC Visa or MasterCard credit cards. The premium is deducted at the beginning of the policy. |

| 8. | Can I pay the premium using other modes of payment or other bank’s credit cards? | ||||||||||
| Unfortunately, we can only accept payment by your HSBC credit cards at this time. |

| 9. | Will my policy be affected if I cancel my HSBC credit card? | ||||||||||
| Your policy will not be affected as long as the premium has been paid. However, without your HSBC credit card, you will not enjoy the additional fraud protection of S$5,000 before report of loss for HSBC credit cards issued in Singapore. When your policy is due for renewal, CPP will collect payment from any alternative card registered with them. |

| 10. | What is the length of my policy? | ||||||||||
| Your policy runs continuously for one year from the start date and is automatically renewed. |

| 11. | How do I renew my policy? | ||||||||||
| Four weeks prior to the end of your policy, CPP will send you a renewal letter advising that your policy is due for renewal. Your policy is then automatically renewed and CPP will take payment from the same HSBC credit card unless otherwise advised by you. |

| 12. | How do I cancel my policy? | ||||||||||
| To cancel your policy, you will need to contact the CPP customer service hotline on +65 6415 5168, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The customer service hotline number can also be found in your welcome pack. |

| 13. | Can I cancel my policy anytime? | ||||||||||
| When you first purchase Card Protection Plus, you will have 21 days to decide if the policy is suitable for your needs. If you decide to cancel your policy within this period and you have not used the service, you will receive a full refund. If you decide to cancel your policy after this period, there will be no refund of premiums. |

| 14. | Why do I need to register my cards? | ||||||||||
| Your full coverage starts as soon as we have confirmed payment. Therefore, we recommend that you register your card details with CPP as soon as possible. By doing so, CPP will be able to provide the services immediately. |

When you discover the items are missing, immediately call CPP’s lost and stolen card hotline on +65 6415 5158. CPP’s specially trained agents will be able to guide you through the whole process.

| 17. | How can I pay for my hotel expenses? | ||||||||||
| You should inform CPP that you would like assistance with the hotel payment. CPP will then liaise with the hotel and advance the expenses to pay the hotel directly. |

| 18. | How to make a claim? | ||||||||||
| Should you ever need to make a claim, please call CPP on +65 6415 5168 and CPP will send you a claim form. The form needs to be completed with as much detail as possible and then returned to CPP with original documents for processing. |

| 19. | Is there any time period limitation for submitting a claim? | ||||||||||
| All claims must be received within 60 days from the date of card loss. Please remember to include all the documents that CPP ask for, including original receipts (not photocopies) for any expenses claimed for. If you do not, CPP will not be able to process your claim until they have received them. |

| No, we will only send you a notification letter if your application cannot be processed. When your application is successfully processed, you will see the policy premium charge in your selected HSBC credit card account and CPP will issue you a welcome pack containing the following materials: -

| 24. | When will I receive my welcome pack? | ||||||||||
| Normally, you should receive the welcome pack from CPP within one week from confirmation of the policy effective date. |

Policy effective date will be the date on which customers return the signed Card Protection Plus application form to HSBC. Between the policy effective date and the day your premium is charged, you can already enjoy the assistance services under Card Protection Plus.
