Merchant offers are valid from 14 May till 14 July 2009, unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be made with an HSBC credit or debit card issued by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (“HSBC”) in Singapore.
Merchant offers are not applicable to debit card purchases made using the credit line of any personal line of credit account.
Merchant offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other existing year-round privileges, vouchers, set menus, coupons, fixed-priced items, loyalty programmes, etc. and are not exchangeable for cash, other products or services.
Merchant offers are subject to prevailing GST payment plus service charge where applicable.
Merchant offers are available while stocks last and participating merchants reserve the right to replace complimentary items with another item of similar or lower value.
Merchant offers are bound by the terms and conditions of the respective merchants and they reserve the right to change any terms and conditions without giving prior notice.
HSBC accepts no liability for the goods and services provided by the merchants and reserves the right to change any other terms and conditions without prior notice.
HSBC’s Guaranteed Gifts Promotion (“Promotion”)
Eligibility:
All HSBC credit and debit cardholders and The Choice Card cardholders (“Cardholders”) are eligible to participate in the Promotion except for HSBC USD and Corporate credit cardholders.
To be eligible for redemption of a gift, Cardholders must make a minimum of S$100 transaction in a single receipt between 14 May and 14 July 2009.
Only transactions made in Singapore currency are eligible for redemption, except for debit card transactions made using the credit line of any personal line of credit account.
Transactions made overseas, cash advance, recurring payments like GIRO and 0% instalment plan purchases, fund transfers, financial charges, late charges, fees and recurring tax payments are not eligible for the Promotion.
Redemption:
To redeem for the gift, Cardholders have to call in to 1800-HSBC GSS/ 1800-4722 477 (“Hotline”) on the day of or following day of transaction.
Each Cardholder can call the Hotline up to a maximum of 60 times within the Promotion period.
All gifts are randomly issued to eligible Cardholders via the Hotline, and limited to one gift redemption per call per transaction.
Cardholders who have made multiple gift redemptions for a single transaction, will be disqualified from this Promotion. In the case of any dispute, HSBC's decision will be final.
Cardholders will receive an SMS notification of the gift details after calling in to the Hotline, and successfully redeemed a gift.
There are S$30,000 worth of gifts to be redeemed, comprising of bonus HSBC's Rewards points, HSBC's Prepaid Movie Cards, escentials vouchers, Sakae Sushi dining vouchers, Forlino dining vouchers, il Lido dining vouchers, Konsortium travel vouchers, Isetan vouchers, Philips MP3 players, PSP® (PSP-3006), Hewlett-Packard Mini notebooks, a pair of Singapore Airlines Business Class air tickets to the Maldives with a 5D/4N stay at Angsana Ihuru Resort Beachfront Villa for two people and a Catamaran sunset dinner cruise from il Lido for eight guests.
Gifts are not transferable and are not exchangeable for cash, other products or services. HSBC reserves the right to change the gifts at any time without prior notice.
HSBC will verify the Cardholder’s transaction amount and date of transaction before posting the gift redemption letter to the eligible main Cardholder, or crediting bonus HSBC's Rewards points into the eligible main Cardholder’s account.
Cardholders who make a purchase by 13 June 2009, and purchase(s) verified by HSBC, will receive their gift redemption letter or bonus HSBC’s Rewards points by 17 July 2009.
Cardholders who make a purchase from 14 June till 14 July 2009, and purchase(s) are verified by HSBC, will receive their gift redemption letter or bonus HSBC’s Rewards points by 31 August 2009.
All transactions are to be posted into HSBC’s credit card systems by 31 July 2009. HSBC accepts no liability for any late submission of the transactions made by merchants for whatsoever reasons.
The main Cardholder’s Account must be in good standing and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by HSBC in its sole discretion at the time of posting of the gift redemption letter(s) or crediting of bonus HSBC's Rewards points. In the event that the main cardholder’s Account is closed or terminated or suspended for any reasons whatsoever before posting of the gift redemption letter(s) to the main Cardholder or crediting of bonus HSBC’s Rewards points , HSBC reserves the right to forfeit the gift and donate the gifts or its equivalent value to charity(ies) of HSBC’s choice.
All Cardholders whose gifts have been forfeited shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation.
Receiving of SMS-es are telco-dependent. HSBC will not accept any responsibility for non-receipt of SMS. There will be no replacement SMS sent for any deleted return SMS to the cardholder.
HSBC accepts no liability for any disruption in mobile call or mobile SMS service by any of the telecommunications operators in Singapore.
HSBC reserves the right to vary the terms of or withdraw the Promotion at any time without prior notice.
S$1 Treats Galore:
Only original S$1 Treat coupons or e-coupons printed from www.hsbc.com.sg/hsbc.gss are accepted at participating merchants and must be presented at point of purchase at each individual merchant.
