HSBC Credit Card - Golfing Privileges Terms and Conditions

Complimentary green fees at 3 golf clubs in Singapore and 1 golf club in Bintan

Terms and conditions

1. Singapore golf clubs are valid on weekdays only. Excludes all Public Holidays in Singapore that fall on a weekday
2. Bintan golf club is valid on weekdays and weekends
3. Minimum 1 paying guest requirement per cardholder
4. Guest(s) of HSBC credit card cardholders enjoy discounted green fees off walk-in or published rates
5. The guest and HSBC credit card cardholder must be on the same flight
6. Maximum 2 HSBC credit card cardholders per flight.
7. The HSBC credit card cardholder can bring up to 3 paying guests on each flight
8. All playing guests' full details must be provided at point of booking. If a fellow HSBC Premier MasterCard cardholder is on the same flight, his/her name, 16-digit credit card number and card expiry date must be provided at time of booking.
9. Each cardholder is entitled to two redemptions per month.
10. Maximum of four cardholders may enjoy this promotion per day.
11. Cardholders can only book a golf game one month in advance, subject to a minimum 4 days advance notice. Bookings for subsequent games can only be made after a current game is played.
12. All payments for cardholders and guest(s) must be made upon booking and charged to a HSBC Premier MasterCard credit card
13. Green fee rates quoted by the golf concierge are not inclusive of taxes and are subject to change without notice
14. All other fees, such as buggy, caddy, turfmate, locker fee and insurance, are to be borne by the cardholder and his/her guest(s)
15. All bookings are subject to availability, on a first-come-first-serve basis
16. Promotion is valid for Singapore-issued HSBC Premier MasterCard credit card cardholders only.
17. Promotion is valid till 31 March 2012

Cancellation and Amendments Policy for Golfing Privileges

1. Cancellations may not be allowed for some clubs once tee-time is confirmed and in such instance, 100% of total chargeable amount for cardholders and guest(s), will be charged directly to the Principal HSBC credit card.
2. The following charges will apply to HSBC credit cardholders and guest(s):
   • 50% of total chargeable amounts* will be levied for cancellations made two working days before date of golf games.
   • 100% of total chargeable amounts* will be levied for cancellations made one working day before date of golf games, for no-shows or late arrivals.
3. Chargeable amounts include green fees, buggy fees, caddie fees, turfmate and insurance at normal published rates at the golf clubs (where applicable).
4. An administration fee of S$15 will be levied for any changes made to the confirmed golf booking. Changes can only be made based on availability.

Other terms and conditions

1. Golfers must have a valid handicap.
2. Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discount, loyalty programs or festive packages and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products or services.
3. To the fullest extent permissible by law, each participating Cardholder releases HSBC Singapore, OAAG and each of their respective employees, agents and authorized representatives, from any claim, loss, damage, death, injury, cost or expense (including any claim for legal expense) sustained or incurred by him/ her in connection with their participation in the program.
4. HSBC Singapore and OAAS do not underwrite or warrant the services performed by the golf courses and shall not have any liability for any deficiency, delay or imperfection in such services or for any loss or damage that may be suffered, or for any personal injury or death to a customer directly or indirectly by use or non-use of the services provided by the golf clubs.
