(a) The cardholder's legally married spouse who has not been legally separated or divorced from the cardholder; and
(b) All the cardholder's legally dependent children including step-children and legally adopted children, each of whom has attained the age of one year but has not attained the age of 25 years and is unemployed and unmarried; provided that all such members are residing in the same household and in the same country of residence as the cardholder; and
(c) The cardholder's siblings, parents and/or parents-in-law.

A. Missed Flight Connection
If the Insured Person's confirmed onward connecting scheduled flight is missed at the transfer point due to the late arrival of the Insured Person's incoming confirmed connecting scheduled flight and no alternative onward transportation is made available to the Insured Person within four hours of the actual arrival time of his incoming flight, the Insurer will indemnify the actual additional expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred for hotel accommodation and restaurant meals or refreshments, provided that the Insured Person shall be at the airport at the time of such missed flight connection.
B. Accompanied Flight Luggage Delay
If the Insured Person's accompanied check-in flight luggage is not delivered to him within six hours of the Insured Person's actual arrival at the scheduled destination point of his scheduled flight, the Insurer will indemnify the actual additional expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred within 48 hours at such scheduled destination for emergency purchase of essential clothing and requisites, provided that such luggage has been checked in by an authorised official of the air carrier with which the Insured Person was travelling at the time of the occurrence.
C. Accompanied Flight Luggage Loss
If the Insured Person's accompanied check-in flight luggage is not delivered to him within 48 hours of the Insured Person's actual arrival at the scheduled destination point of his scheduled flight, such luggage will be presumed to be permanently lost and the Insurer will indemnify the actual additional expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred within 48 hours at such scheduled destination for emergency purchase of essential clothing and requisites, provided that such luggage has been checked in by an authorised official of the air carrier with which the Insured Person was travelling at the time of the occurrence.
D. Flight Delay (with effect from 1 July 2007)
S$100 per insured person for each full 8 consecutive hour block up to a limit of S$1000 - in the event that the departure of the air common carrier in which the Insured Person had arranged to travel is delayed for at least 8 consecutive hours from the time specified in the itinerary supplied to the Insured Person due to strike or industrial action, adverse weather conditions, mechanical breakdown and derangement or due to grounding of a common carrier as a result of mechanical or structural defect.
E. Trip Cancellation(with effect from 1 July 2007)
Up to a limit of S$4000 (traveling alone) or S$10,000 (with family) for loss of travel and/or accommodation expenses paid in advance by the Insured Person and which are not recoverable from any other source consequent upon the cancellation of the trip occurring within 30 days before the commencement of the trip due to the unexpected death or serious injury or sickness of the Insured Person, or the Insured Person’s spouse, child or children with whom the Insured Person intended to travel and remain with outside of Singapore. Cover is only applicable provided that the prepaid expenses were incurred by the Insured Person before the Insured Person become aware of any of the abovementioned events which could lead to the trip cancellation.
“Trip” shall mean a journey undertaken by an Insured Person and commencing three (3) hours before the time the Insured Person leaves his/her permanent place of residence or office for a direct journey to the place of embarkation in Singapore and to the intended destination(s) overseas and ceases on whichever of the following occurring first:
(a) The expiry of the period of insurance specified in the Policy;
(b) The Insured Person’s return to his/her place of residence in the Insured Person’s Country of Residence;
(c) Within three (3) hours upon arrival into Singapore.
“Serious Injury or Sickness”
The injury or sickness must be certified by a Physician to be one which renders the Insured Person or spouse or child unfit to undertake the scheduled trip and one which does not arise or is caused by or related to any pre-existing illness, disease or medical condition afflicting the Insured Person or the spouse or child prior to the scheduling of the trip.
F. Repatriation in event of death
In the event of an accident happening to the public conveyance in which the Insured Person was travelling solely as a fare-paying passenger resulting in the Insured Person's death, the Insurer will indemnify the actual additional expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred for burial or cremation of the Insured Person outside his country of residence and/or transporting the Insured Person's body or ashes to his country of residence, up to the maximum limits as specified in the schedule provided that such trip was not undertaken:
(a) against the medical advice of a physician; and
(b) for the purpose of obtaining or seeking any medical or surgical treatment abroad.
The insurance benefits under B and C shall not apply for any expenses incurred in the country of residence.
Conditions of Coverage
The insurance coverage for the Insured Person shall operate only when he is taking a trip during the period of insurance on a scheduled flight as a fare-paying passenger and when the entire air fare for travel on such scheduled flight has been fully charged in advance to a card account maintained by the cardholder with the Insured.
Major Exclusions
War, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities or warlike operations (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power;
Nuclear material and nuclear fuel, contamination by radioactivity, nuclear waste including nuclear fission;
Sickness, intentionally self-inflicted injury, self-destruction, suicide, criminal or illegal act of the Insured Person, or any attempt thereat, while sane or insane;
Delay, seizure, confiscation, destruction, requisition, retention or detention by customs or any other government or public authority or official;
Failure of the Insured Person to take reasonable measures to protect, save or recover lost luggage;
Failure of the Insured Person to notify the relevant airline authorities of missing luggage at the scheduled destination point and to obtain a property irregularity report;
Late arrival of the Insured Person at the airport after the official check-in time as required by the airline.

Claims Procedure
Written notice of claim must be given to the Insurer as soon as possible but not later than 30 days after the event giving rise to such claim or within 14 days after return to the country of residence, whichever is the later.
All evidence, proof, information, accounts, receipts, certificates, statements, reports and any other documents required by the Insurer shall be furnished at the expense of the claimant and shall be in such form and of such nature as the Insurer may prescribe.
Payment of Claim
Payment of any claim covered under this policy will be made to the cardholder, if living, otherwise to his legal personal representative, whose receipt shall be an effectual and final discharge to the Insurer.
Payment of any claim covered under this policy shall be made in Singapore currency or its equivalent in any other currency at the prevailing rate of exchange as at the time of effecting payment if so required by the cardholder or his legal personal representative.
If any claim under this policy shall be in any respect fraudulent or if any fraudulent means or devices shall be used by the policyholder, the Insured Person, the legal personal representative, any claimant or anyone acting for or on behalf of any of them to obtain any benefit under this Policy, the Insurer shall be under no liability in respect of such claim.
No claim shall be payable for any such loss or expenses reimbursed by or recoverable from the airline or any other source.
