Insured Persons HSBC Premier cardholder including family members*
*Family Members (a) The cardholder's legally married spouse who has not been legally separated or divorced from the cardholder; and

(b) All the cardholder's legally dependent children including step-children and legally adopted children, each of whom has attained the age of one year but has not attained the age of 25 years and is unemployed and unmarried; provided that all such members are residing in the same household and in the same country of residence as the cardholder; and

(c) The cardholder's siblings, parents and/or parents-in-law.
Coverage Accidental Death and Permanent and Total Disability resulting from an accident as covered under the Policy occurring within 180 days of such accident.
Aggregate Limit S$300,000 per cardholder account and per flight, cruise or any other conveyance operated under a licence for transportation of passengers for hire for any one accident.
HSBC's Maximum Aggregate Limit S$15,000,000 per flight, cruise or any other conveyance operated under a licence for transportation of passengers for hire for any one accident

Conditions of Coverage On overseas trip while riding as a passenger in or boarding or alighting from any air, land or water conveyance operated under a licence for the transportation of passengers for hire. Cover shall apply further providing that the entire fare for transportation on that conveyance has been fully charged to an HSBC Premier MasterCard® account.
Major Exclusions Intentionally self-inflicted injuries, self-destruction, suicide, criminal act of the Insured Person, or any attempt thereat, whilst sane or insane; War, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities or warlike operations (whether war be declared or undeclared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power, terrorism howsoever arising or any act thereof;
Illegal acts of an Insured Person or an Insured Person's designated beneficiary, executor(s) or administrator(s) or legal heirs or personal legal representative(s);
Injury sustained whilst within the country of domicile
Self-drive, passenger in a chauffeured car or taxis.
Claims Procedure Written notice of claim must be given to the Insurer within 30 days after the occurrence or as soon as reasonably possible.

Written notice given by or on behalf of the Insured Person to the Insurer with information sufficient to identify the Insured Person shall be deemed notice to the Insurer.

All evidence, proof, information, accounts, receipts, certificates, statements, reports and any other documents required by the Insurer shall be furnished at the expense of the claimant and shall be in such form and of such nature as the Insurer may prescribe.
Payment of Claim Payment of loss covered by this Policy shall be made by the Insurer only after adequate proof of loss to substantiate the claim has been received by the Insurer and when the amount of benefit has been ascertained and agreed. Any payment for accidental loss of life becoming due hereunder shall be payable to the estate of the Insured Person. All other losses shall be payable to the Insured Person. The receipt of the Insured Person or the legal personal representative of the Insured Person shall in all cases be an effectual discharge to the Insurer.

If any claim under this policy shall be in any respect fraudulent or if any fraudulent means or devices shall be used by the Insured or the Insured Person or anyone acting on behalf of the Insured or the Insured Person to obtain any benefits under this policy, the Insurer shall be under no liability in respect of such claim.
