Terms and Conditions Governing HSBC's Revolution Credit Card Online Acquisition Promotion (the "Promotion")

1. To participate in this Promotion, all HSBC's Revolution credit card applications must be submitted online between 1 May and 31 July 2010 (both dates inclusive) (the "Promotion Period").
2. Successful HSBC’s Revolution credit card applicants will be entitled to one (1) set of Philips Headphones (worth S$119) (the “Acquisition Gift”) when:-
   (i) the HSBC’s Revolution credit card account is approved by 15 August 2010; and
   (ii) a minimum of three transactions are charged to the HSBC's Revolution credit card within 30 days from the date of receipt of the HSBC’s Revolution credit card.
3. This Promotion is not applicable to online HSBC's Revolution credit card applications submitted via the online short forms at https://www.apps.asiapacific.hsbc.com/1/2/sgh2/hsbc-credit-card-application-form-short.
4. Only HSBC's Revolution credit card accounts ("Account") that are maintained in good standing and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by HSBC in its sole discretion at the time of fulfillment will be eligible for the Acquisition Gift. In the event that the Account is closed or terminated or suspended for any reasons whatsoever before the time of fulfillment, HSBC reserves the right to forfeit the eligibility of the Account at its sole discretion and the relevant cardholder shall not be entitled to any compensation whatsoever.
5. Customers who cancelled their HSBC's Revolution credit card within the last 12 months are not eligible for the Promotion when they re-apply for HSBC’s Revolution credit cards during the Promotion Period.
6. Only transactions (including internet purchases) made with the newly approved HSBC’s Revolution credit card are eligible for this promotion.
7. Fund transfers, instalments, tax payments, annual fees, bank charges and unposted, cancelled, disputed and refunded transactions will not qualify and are expressly excluded.
8. Redemption letters for the Acquisition Gift will be sent to eligible HSBC’s Revolution credit cardholders within 2 months from the end of the Promotion Period. Terms and conditions applicable to the redemption of the Acquisition Gift will apply.
9. Redemption letters that are lost, misplaced or damaged are strictly non-replaceable.
10. HSBC is not a supplier of the products provided by the participating partner involved in this Promotion and will not accept any liability in relation thereto.
11. HSBC and the participating partner reserve the right to replace the products of an equal or lower value at any point of the Promotion Period.
12. HSBC reserves the right to substitute or replace the Acquisition Gift with items of equal or similar value at its discretion without notice.
13. The Acquisition Gift is not refundable or exchangeable for Reward Points or other reward items from HSBC.
14. HSBC reserves the right in its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions of this Promotion, change or withdraw the Promotion at any time without giving any reason or prior notice. In case of any dispute, HSBC’s decision is final.
