Singapore dollar savings account advantages

The more you save, the more interest you earn

A savings account* from HSBC gives you added incentive to save because it pays daily interest on your balance, which is credited to your account every month. This means you earn interest upon interest. With our multi-tiered interest rate structure, the more you save the more you earn. Moreover, you can deposit or withdraw money regularly and still get the most from your savings.
* A minimum deposit of S$1,000 is required to open a savings account. However, you can open a basic bank account, which requires a minimum initial deposit of S$10 if you are a Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident earning a monthly income below S$2,000.
