"HSBC Women's Champions 2012 Trivia Contest" terms and conditions

The Contest is valid from 3 January to 26 February 2012, both dates inclusive (the "Promotional Period").

To qualify for the Contest, participants must be 18 years and above and must be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident residing in Singapore.

By participating in the Contest, you are deemed to have consented to the use/disclosure of your particulars to HSBC (the 'Bank') and its authorised agents for purposes of the Contest, including without limitation any prize notification and the public disclosure of your name and particulars for publicity or otherwise to participate in the publicity activities of the Bank in relation to the Contest.

For Contest 1: (3 January to 29 January 2012) - Participants who have answered the relevant contest questions correctly will be eligible for a chance to win one of the following prizes:
1 x Grand Prize - HSBC's Multi Currency Saving account with S$2,000 deposited
1 x 2nd Prize - 2 seasonal passes to HSBC Women's Champions 2012
1 x 3rd Prize - Hi Tea at Equinox for two persons

For Contest 2: (30 January to 26 February 2012) - Participants who have answered the relevant contest questions correctly will be eligible for a chance to win one of the following prizes:
1 x Grand Prize - HSBC's Multi Currency Saving account with S$2,000 deposited
1 x 2nd Prize - One set of TaylorMade Golf Clubs
1 x 3rd Prize - Lunch at Asian Market for two persons

10 x Consolation Prizes - 1 x HSBC Women's Champions player-autographed TaylorMade-adidas cap and 1 x TaylorMade backpack will be given away for each contest.

Lucky draw chances accumulated in Contest 1 (and not picked as a winner for that contest) during the Promotional Period will not be used in the Draw for Contest 2.

By participating in the Contest, you are deemed to have consented to the opening of an HSBC's Multi Currency Saving account (the "Account") in your name with the Bank should you win the Grand Prize. Terms and conditions of the HSBC's Multi Currency Savings account apply; full details on http://www.hsbc.com.sg/1/2/personal/deposits/multi-currency-savings-account.

Any tariffs and charges related to the maintaining of the Account will be waived for one year from date of Account opening. Following which, winner of the Grand Prize will be solely responsible for any tariffs and charges according to the terms and conditions of the HSBC's Multi Currency Savings account.

For the Grand Prize to be valid, the winner must maintain the Account for a minimum of 6 months from the date of Account opening.

A lucky draw will be conducted on 6 February 2012 at 2.30 pm at HSBC Singapore, 20 Pasir Panjang Road, #14- 21, Mapletree Business City, Singapore 117439 to determine the 13 winners of Contest 1.

Winners of the Prizes will be notified by e-mail and/or phone by 13 February 2012 based on the personal information provided when they participated in the Contest. A letter of notification will be sent to the winner's mailing address by 20 February 2012 . If the winner is not contactable and/or unable to collect the Prizes by 13 March 2012, the Bank reserves the right to award the Prizes to the next winner at its discretion.

A lucky draw will be conducted on 12 March 2012 at 2.30 pm at HSBC Singapore, 20 Pasir Panjang Road, #14- 21, Mapletree Business City, Singapore 117439 to determine the 13 winners of Contest 2.

Winners of the Prizes will be notified by e-mail and/or phone by 19 March 2012 based on the personal information provided when they participated in the Contest. A letter of notification will be sent to the winner's mailing address by 26 March 2012. If the winner is not contactable and/or unable to collect the Prizes by 19 April 2012, the Bank reserves the right to award the Prizes to the next winner at its discretion.

No Prize is refundable or exchangeable for cash or other reward items from the Bank.

The Bank reserves the right to replace any Prize with items of similar value at its discretion.

The Bank reserves the right to vary, amend, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions, at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice.

The Bank is not the supplier of the Prize and will not accept any liability in relation thereto.

In the event of any dispute, the Bank's decision shall be final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
