  1. What is Bulk Cash Deposit?
    Bulk Cash Deposit provides you with the convenience of self-service cash deposit of up to 30 notes each time and up to 10 consecutive deposits (i.e., 30 notes x 10 times) per account. You can now deposit cash at any time of your convenience in any of our Day & Night Centres located at our Marine Parade, Ocean Building, Upper Bukit Timah and Serangoon Garden branches.
  2. What is the maximum deposit amount per day?
    You can deposit up to S$20,000 per account per day using the Bulk Cash Deposit Machine.
  3. Does Bulk Cash Deposit Machine accept Cheque deposit?
    No, it only accepts Cash deposit. You may continue to use our Fast Cheque Deposit at our ATM machine where Cheque deposit is supported. Alternatively, you may drop your cheques at our Cheque Deposit Box, which will be processed the next working day.
  4. What are the accepted denominations for Bulk Cash Deposit?
    It will accept $10, $50, $100 and $1000 Singapore dollars only.
  5. What is the maximum number of notes per deposit?
    You may deposit up to 30 notes each time, up to 10 consecutive deposits (i.e., 30 notes x 10 deposits) per account.
  6. What happens if I were to deposit more than 30 notes per deposit? Will the transaction be rejected by the Bulk Cash Deposit Machine?
    The Bulk Cash Deposit Machine will not reject your deposit transaction but it will only accept the first 30 notes deposited and the machine will purge the remaining extra notes for your collection. You may choose to continue with the deposit for the remaining extra notes up to 10 consecutive deposits per account. Alternatively, you may also choose to cancel your transaction and the 30 notes that you have earlier deposited will be returned to you.
  7. Must I sort the notes in any order before depositing?
    No, you need not sort the notes. The Bulk Cash Deposit will display on screen the number of notes and total amount that you have deposited for your confirmation before it proceeds to accept the deposit.
  8. Must I have an ATM Card to perform cash deposit?
    You have the option to deposit with or without an ATM Card. Without the ATM Card, you would need to have the Account Number that you want to deposit.
  9. What is the difference between deposit with or without an ATM Card?
    For all successful cash deposit transactions with ATM card, the Bulk Cash Deposit Machine will display and print the account available balance on screens and Instant Deposit Advice, respectively. For cash deposit without an ATM Card, the account balance will not be displayed both on screen and on the Instant Deposit Advice.
  10. Can a third party perform cash deposit to my account since the Bulk Cash Deposit Machine supports cash deposit without an ATM Card?
    Yes, a third party deposit transaction is allowed as long as he/she has the Account Number that he/she wants to deposit.
  11. I don't have any ATM Card but I do have a HSBC Credit Card that is linked to my banking accounts, can I deposit money to my banking account using Credit Card?
    Yes, you can deposit money using Credit Card that is linked to your banking account. For Credit Card with one linked account, the system will, by default, credit the cash that is deposited into your banking account upon successful transaction. If there are two accounts linked to your Credit Card, the Bulk Cash Deposit Machine will display the two account numbers on screen for your selection before the deposit transaction can be continued.
  12. Can I deposit money to my Credit Card Account as payment?
    Yes.
  13. When will the monies that are deposited in this Bulk Cash Deposit be credited to my account?
    The monies that have been successfully deposited will be credited to your account immediately.
  14. How can I ensure that the cash deposited is the correct amount that will be credited to my account?
    Once you have deposited the monies, the machine will count and highlight the number of notes in respect of the denomination. You would have to select "confirm" before the transaction can be completed, otherwise the transaction will be timed out. A Customer Instant Deposit Advice Slip with the total number of notes and amount deposited will be issued for your record.

    However, in the event that there is discrepancy with the total number of notes and amount deposited, you may select "Cancel" and the machine will purge the notes that you have deposited.
