  1. How does HSBC participate in SingPost?
    HSBC participates as a Bill Payment Service Provider, which allows you to pay your HSBC's credit card bills on SAMs and Post Offices.
  2. What kind of payment mode can be found at the SingPost?
    Payment can be made via NETS ATM card at the SAMs, and NETS or Cash/Cash Card over the Post Office counters.

    With a NETS ATM card, you can make payments up to your daily withdrawal limit on your account. With a CashCard, it is up to a maximum of S$500 that can be stored in your CashCard.

    There is no minimum amount for Credit Card bill payment.
  5. Are there any transaction charges?
    No charges are levied on HSBC's credit card bill payments made through SingPost.
  6. If I make a payment now, when will the payments be effected?
    The cut off time for weekdays is 3pm. If you make a payment before 3pm, the transaction will be processed on the same working day. However, if you make a payment after 3pm, HSBC will process it the next working day.

    Please note that payments on weekends/public holidays will be processed the next working day.
  7. Can I make payment using my HSBC ATM or debit card?
    No. Currently, SingPost is only able to accept the following payment modes:

    i. NETS ATM cards via SAM
    ii. NETS ATM cards, cash or CashCard via Post Offices
  8. Can I pay my outstanding credit card bills?
    Yes. All outstanding payments are accumulative and you can make outstanding payments at SingPost.
  9. Can I make minimum or partial payments for credit card bills?
    Yes, you can make minimum or partial payments for your credit card bills.
  10. If I have credit card bills accumulated over two months and I want to make a partial payment, which month's bill will I be paying for?
    If you make a partial payment, HSBC will deduct the amount from your oldest bill before deductions from later bills are made.
  11. If I did not bring my credit card along can I still make a payment?
    Yes, you can manually enter your credit card number.
