HSBC Premier – HP Mini Notebook Promotion (“Promotion”)

1. This Promotion is valid from 4 to 30 May 2009 (“Promotional Period”), both dates inclusive.
2. This Promotion is exclusive to new HSBC Premier sign-ups only.
3. New Premier sign-ups who qualify for this Promotion will receive a free HP Mini notebook worth S$599.
4. The image of the HP Mini notebook featured is for illustration purposes only, and does not reflect the actual unit that the customer would receive. For details on the model specifications, please call us on 1800-227-8889 or visit our Premier centres today.
5. To qualify for HSBC Premier, a total relationship balance (“TRB”) of at least S$200,000 or equivalent in deposits, investments and/ or insurance with HSBC is required. 
6. Existing HSBC (non-Premier) customers may simply upgrade to HSBC Premier with a minimum TRB 'top-up' of S$100,000 or the difference required to meet the S$200,000 TRB criteria, whichever is higher.
7. Of the stipulated TRB requirement, a minimum placement of either (i) S$10,000 in unit trusts, (ii) S$50,000 in Dual Currency Plus, (iii) S$50,000 in 6-month (or longer) time deposit(s), or (iv) S$6,000 per annum in a regular premium insurance plan, is required as well.
8. The TRB requirement must be met with only fresh funds, using non-HSBC cheque(s) and/or cashier’s order(s). Transfers from existing HSBC Bank deposit accounts or via HSBC cheques, cashier’s orders or demand drafts are not permitted.
9. To qualify for the promotion, new HSBC Premier sign-ups during the Promotional Period must fully fund their account to meet the minimum TRB requirement of S$200,000 by 30 June 2009. Qualified HSBC Premier customers will be notified to collect their HP Mini notebook from HSBC Premier centres from 27 July 2009 onwards.
10. Each HSBC Premier relationship (for the avoidance of doubt, each joint account is considered one relationship) is only entitled to one HP Mini notebook.
11. In the event that the HSBC Premier account is closed within 12 months from the month of sign-up, the Bank reserves the right to charge an early closure fee of S$600.
12. Customers who have closed their HSBC Premier account in the last six months prior to (and inclusive of) the month of the Promotional Period are not eligible for this Promotion.
13. This Promotion is not valid with other offers or promotions unless otherwise stated. Only personal/individual accounts are eligible for the promotion and terms and conditions governing personal deposit accounts will apply.
14. The HP Mini notebooks issued are not redeemable for cash. HSBC is not a supplier of the products and services offered under the Promotion and will not accept any liability in relation thereto.
15. The HP Mini notebooks are available on a while-stock-lasts basis. HSBC reserves the right to replace the HP Mini notebook with other item(s) of similar value without prior notice.
16. HSBC reserves the right to vary the terms of or withdraw the programme at any time without notice. In the case of a dispute, the decision of HSBC shall be final.
