Terms & Conditions for HSBC Premier Mortgage Eligibility Criteria ("MEC")

1.	An applicant who wishes to become an HSBC Premier customer through the MEC ("Customer") must agree to all terms and conditions in this document (including these MEC terms and conditions), the Premier terms and conditions and any other prevailing terms and conditions from time to time. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these MEC terms and conditions and the HSBC Premier terms and conditions, these MEC terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency.
2.	To be eligible for HSBC Premier through the MEC, the Customer must take up an original property loan size of at least S$800,000 with the Bank and the loan to value ratio at the point of loan acceptance should be 80% or less.
3.	For the first 24 months from the date of successful enrolment into HSBC Premier ("Eligibility Period"), Customers who join HSBC Premier through the MEC will receive a 24-month waiver for the prevailing monthly Premier HSBC Premier Service Fee (currently at S$50).
4.	During the Eligibility Period, if (subject to the terms and conditions set out in the property loan facility letter) the Customer fully redeems the relevant property loan, and the Customer's Total Relationship Balance (TRB) is less than S$200,000, the Customer will automatically cease to be a HSBC Premier customer. "TRB" is made up of the average daily balances for the calendar month, taking into account deposits, investments and insurance held with the Bank.
5.	After the Eligibility Period, each Customer must maintain at least S$200,000 in TRB to remain qualified for HSBC Premier. If the Customer's TRB is less than S$200,000 after the Eligibility Period, the Customer will automatically cease to be a HSBC Premier customer.
6.	No Customer can enroll in HSBC Premier through the MEC more than once.
7.	The Bank has sole and absolute discretion (but is not obliged) to offer the MEC to any group(s) of customers.
8.	The Bank reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the above terms and conditions, including without limitation the MEC, at any time with prior notice.
