HSBC Premier International Referral Programme General Terms and Conditions

1. The HSBC Premier International Referral Programme is open to existing HSBC Premier International customers who successfully refer a new customer ("referee") to start an HSBC Premier International relationship in Singapore between 20 June and 31 December 2011 ("Programme Period"), both dates inclusive.
2. To qualify for HSBC Premier International, a total relationship balance ("TRB") of at least S$200,000 or equivalent in deposits, investments and/ or insurance with HSBC is required.
3. Under this Programme, for the referral to be considered successful, the referee must start the HSBC Premier International relationship during the Programmeal Period and maintain the minimum TRB of S$200,000 or equivalent by 31 December 2011.
4. Referrers will receive direct cash credit into the specified Premier account for each successful HSBC Premier International referral, in accordance to the TRB funding below:

5. The funding of TRB must be met within three (3) months from date of referral for HSBC Premier International with fresh funds only, using non-HSBC cheque(s), cashier's order(s) and/or demand drafts. Transfers from existing HSBC Bank deposit accounts or via HSBC cheques, cashier's orders or demand drafts are not permitted.
6. For new HSBC Premier International sole accounts opened during the Programme Period, this Programme will not be applicable to referrers who refer a referee with an existing sole and/or joint [HSBC Premier International banking relationship presently or one during the past twelve months to open and maintain the new HSBC Premier International sole account.
7. For new HSBC Premier International joint accounts opened during the Promotional Period, this Programme is also applicable to referrers who refer a referee with an existing HSBC Premier International sole banking relationship to open and maintain the new HSBC Premier International joint accounts with a minimum Total Relationship Balance of S$200,000 or equivalent in deposits, investments and/or insurance through fresh funds only, using non-HSBC cheque(s) and/or cashier's order(s).
8. For the avoidance of doubt, this Programme will not be applicable to referrers who refer any referee who has closed and re-opened any sole or joint HSBC Premier International account(s) during the past twelve months.
9. Multiple referees who sign up for HSBC Premier International in a joint relationship will only be considered as one successful referral.
10. This offer is not valid in conjunction with other HSBC Premier International Referral Programme offers.
11. All referees who start an HSBC Premier International relationship via this programme must maintain their HSBC Premier International relationship for at least twelve months from the month of sign-up, failing which HSBC may deduct the cash credit from the referrer's account in accordance with Clause 19.
12. The date of referral must not be later than the date of account opening.
13. There is no limit to the number of new customers that can be referred by an eligible customer during the Programme Period.
14. Customers cannot refer themselves to receive the direct cash credit.
15. If two or more eligible customers refer the same customer who starts an HSBC Premier International relationship during the Programme Period, only the first eligible customer whose duly completed referral form is received by HSBC will be entitled to receive the direct cash credit.
16. Staff of the bank will not be eligible to participate in the programme as a referrer or referee.
17. The referrer specifically declares that consent has been obtained from the referee to disclose his/her contact details to HSBC, and HSBC may contact the referee to offer banking services and products.
18. HSBC reserves the right to make any changes to the Programme or replace any of the Programme gifts with another item of similar value without any prior notice.
19. HSBC reserves the right to deduct the cash credited for each referral from the referrer's account in the event the referee terminates his/her HSBC Premier International relationship within twelve months from the date the account is opened.
20. HSBC reserves the right to vary the terms of or withdraw the programme at any time without prior notice. In case of any dispute with the customer, the decision of HSBC shall be final.
