The debit card gives you access to your savings or current account* at all HSBC ATMs in Singapore and worldwide, and at over a million PLUS ATMs around the world. In addition, you can use the debit card to make payment for purchases at millions of Visa merchants around the world.

An SMS alert will be sent to you each time a transaction performed by your HSBC Debit card, bearing an amount greater than the alert threshold amount maintained with the bank, is approved. This SMS transaction alert service is provided free for your banking convenience and security.

What's more, you can get QuickCash at more than 230 Cold Storage Group of stores in Singapore, such as Cold Storage, Giant, Jasons, Marketplace, Shop N Save and Guardian outlets with the debit card. QuickCash is a feature that allows you to make cash withdrawals⁺ on your debit card, accompanied by a Visa Payment purchase of any amount.

Please note that QuickCash at Cold Storage group will be discontinued for MasterCard electronic card on 30 April 2011. QuickCash at Cold Storage group will still be available with the new Visa Debit card.
