Important Security Notice on SpyEye Malware (September 2011)

It has come to our attention that variants of the SpyEye malware are targeting Singapore internet banking web sites and we would like to remind our customers to update their anti-virus software with the latest virus signatures.

This malicious programme infects your computer and at the login stage, is able to steal your internet banking login information such as your username, password and security code.

You may experience the following if you have accessed your internet banking from an infected computer:
1) see the following screen asking you to wait for 1-10 minutes


2) be prompted repeatedly to enter your username, password or security code.

Action:

You are advised not to proceed with the transaction and should immediately have your computer scanned for malware.
