HSBC's Overseas Spend Promotion

  1. HSBC's Overseas Spend Promotion ("Promotion") is open to all cardholders of valid accounts of HSBC credit cards as herein described ("Cardholder").
  2. All valid accounts of *HSBC credit cards ("HSBC Card") qualify for participation. (*HSBC Cards means any of the HSBC Visa / MasterCard Credit Cards except HSBC US dollar cards, Corporate credit cards and The Choice Card.)
  3. Supplementary cardholders are eligible for this Promotion. The additional Rewards points earned will be credited into the main Cardholder's account.
  4. In order to be eligible for the Promotion, the Cardholder must charge to his/her personal HSBC Cards issued by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Singapore Branch ("HSBC") for any foreign currency transaction made (inclusive of retail purchase, online transaction, cash advance made overseas) between 1 July and 31 December 2009 ("Period").
  5. The validity of all qualifying foreign currency transactions made shall be determined by HSBC in its sole and absolute discretion.
  6. Cardholder is required to only register once via SMS between 1 July and 30 November 2009, and he/she will be eligible for the Promotion, subject to the other terms and conditions of this Promotion.
  7. Additional Rewards points will only be issued for foreign currency transactions made after Cardholder has successfully registered for the Promotion.
  8. Cardholders will earn 3x Rewards points on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and 5x Rewards points on weekends (Saturday to Sunday) for foreign currency transactions made within the Period.
  9. To register for the Promotion, simply SMS TRAVEL<space>16-digit HSBC credit card number to 7HSBC (74722) and Cardholder will receive an SMS acknowledgement of his/her participation.
  10. Each Cardholder's account must be in good standing and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by HSBC in its sole discretion at the time of registration and/or crediting of the additional Rewards points. In the event that the Cardholder's account is closed or terminated or suspended for any reasons, whatsoever, before the crediting of the additional Rewards points, HSBC reserves the right to forfeit the additional Rewards points.
  11. The additional Rewards points for foreign currency transactions made between 1 July to 30 September 2009 will be credited into the main Cardholder's HSBC Card account by 31 October 2009.
  12. The additional Rewards points for foreign currency transactions made between 1 October to 31 December 2009 will be credited into the main Cardholder's HSBC Card account by 31 January 2010.
  13. HSBC reserves the right to vary, amend, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions, at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice.
  14. HSBC's decision on all matters relating to the Promotion is final and binding on the Cardholders.

HSBC's Travel Package Offers

  1. Payment must be made with an HSBC credit or debit card for HSBC's Travel Package Offers ("Offers") at the following merchants: Konsortium Express & Tours, Star Cruises and PriceBreaker.
  2. Payment must be made with an HSBC credit card for HSBC's Travel Package Offers ("Offers") at the following merchants: LateStay.com, The Andaman Langkawi and The Datai Langkawi.
  3. Prior reservation is required for all travel packages in the Offer, subject to availability at time of reservation.
  4. Prices listed are accurate as of time of print and are subject to fluctuation of applicable taxes, surcharges and charges.
  5. HSBC reserves the right to vary the terms of or withdraw the Offers at any time without prior notice.
