Before you complete the application, please ensure you understand the following qualifying criteria and terms for a credit card and personal line of credit application.
  • You are at least 21 years of age
  • You earn at least S$30,000 per annum or draw at least S$2,500 basic salary per month
  • You earn at least S$40,000 per annum if you are self-employed
  • For a foreigner who is residing in Singapore, a minimum annual income of S$40,000 per annum and an employment pass validity of at least one year are required.
To apply for ePowerVantage, you must be a Singapore citizen or a Singapore permanent resident.


What do I need to submit for my application?

Once you complete the online application form, please print and sign the letter of instruction that is located after the confirmation page and fax to +65 64244591.

Kindly also fax us a:


Clear copy of your Identity Card/ Passport (front and back, enlarged to 150%)

AND one of the following income documents to support your application if you are a salaried employee:

a) Notice Of Assessment 2006/2007 (NOA 2006/2007 from IRAS)
b) Your latest computerised pay slip or
c) Last six months' CPF statement

For self-employed/commission-based earners, please fax us your last two years' Notice of Assessment.

If you are applying for ePowerVantage, HSBC will follow up with a separate letter requesting for the required documents.



How long will my application take to complete and how long will it take for the bank to process the
application?


The online application process should only take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. To expedite application process, please ensure you complete all mandatory fields in shaded boxes on the online application form.

Please allow up to seven working days for your application to be processed. If required, we may contact you by telephone, SMS or e-mail, while processing your application.

We will also conduct the following before approving any application
  • Verification of details you have provided
  • Reference checks including with credit bureau
Please note:
  • It is compulsory for you to sign up for HSBC's personal internet banking
  • All bank statements (current and future) will be sent to you online via HSBC's personal internet banking
  • We may inform you on your outstanding balance and payment due date via SMS if you did not register for internet banking before your billing date
  • If you are an HSBC Premier or Infinity customer, you will no longer enjoy HSBC Premier or Infinity privileges once you have been approved for HSBC's Revolution
  • Your application for personal line of credit and/or ePowerVantage will only be processed after your HSBC's Revolution credit card application is approved.
