How do I earn the Rewards points?
You will be entitled to one Rewards point for every S$1 charged to your HSBC credit card. For US dollar credit cards, you will be entitled to one Rewards point for every US$0.60 charged. This excludes Cash Advance, finance charges and adjustments. Rewards points will be awarded to posted transactions.

Can Supplementary Cardholders earn points?
Yes, these points will be accumulated in the primary Cardholder's account, and only the primary Cardholder can redeem the Rewards points. The primary Cardholder can then authorise the supplementary Cardholder to utilise the Rewards Voucher by completing the Voucher with his/her credit card number and signature.

What is the validity of my Rewards points?
Rewards points are valid for three years from the year it is earned, expiring on the anniversary date of issuance of the credit card.
For example, if your anniversary date of issuance is on 1 April, here’s an illustration of the validity of your Rewards points:

How do I find out my Rewards points balance?
Your Rewards points balance will be reflected on your Credit card statement. You can also check your balance online if you have an online@hsbc account (Personal Internet Banking).

Log on to Personal Internet Banking at www.hsbc.com.sg and follow these steps:
Account Summary > Click on the Credit Card Account number you wish to redeem from > Account Overview > Bonus points

How do I redeem my Rewards points?
For Online Redemption,
i.Click here.
ii.Select Rewards Category.
iii.Select item(s) for redemption.
iv.Enter the quantity to redeem.
v.Click "Add Selections to Cart". You may continue to browse and redeem other items.
vi.When you are done with your selection, click on "ViewCart" to verify your redemption.
vii.Click "Redeemnow" to proceed.
viii.Enter your online@hsbc (Personal Internet Banking) ID and password to confirm redemption. If you are not an online@hsbc customer yet, simply click here to register.
For Phone Redemption,
i.Call 1800-REWARDS (739 2737).
ii.Select 1 for "Redemption".
iii.Key in your 16-digit HSBC credit card number and press #.
iv.Key in the redemption code of your selected item and press #.
v.Key in the quantity to redeem and press #.
vi.Key in your NRIC or passport number and press #.
vii.To redeem more rewards, select 1. To end the call, select 9. To speak to a Customer Service Representative, call 1800-HSBC NOW (4722 669).

Can I use my Rewards points to pay my HSBC credit card's Annual Fee?
Yes. Please redeem one month before the Annual Fee is billed or on the actual Annual Fee billing month. Details of the successful redemption will be reflected in your credit card statement.

If I have insufficient points for a reward I wish to redeem, can I purchase the Rewards points to top up my balance?
Yes. You can purchase Rewards Points for S$8 per block of 1,000 Rewards points. The cash amount will be charged to your HSBC credit card. Rewards points top-ups are not applicable for redemption of air miles. Redemption for Rewards points top-up has to be accompanied with a concurrent redemption of another Rewards item.
Simply call 1800-HSBC NOW (4722 669) to request for your Rewards points top-up. For Premier MasterCard cardholders, please call 1800-227 8889.

When will I receive my Rewards Voucher(s)?
The Rewards Voucher(s) will be sent to your mailing address within seven working days. In the event of an unsuccessful redemption, a notification letter will be sent.

What is the validity of the Rewards Voucher?
The Rewards Voucher is valid for three months from the date of issuance, unless otherwise specified.

Can I cancel or exchange the Rewards Voucher(s)?
We regret that cancellation or exchange of Rewards Voucher(s) will not be accepted once the redemption has been accepted by HSBC. There will be no replacement for lost, defaced, torn, damaged or stolen Rewards Voucher(s).

How do I utilise my Rewards Voucher(s)?
You will need to fill in your credit card number and sign on the Rewards Voucher(s). The Rewards Voucher(s) must be presented prior to making payment or quoted when making reservations.

Is my Rewards Voucher transferable?
The Rewards Voucher may be transferred to a third party but the Cardholder must complete the Rewards Voucher with their credit card number and signature.

How do I convert my Rewards points into air miles?
Simply sign up for a one-time enrolment in HSBC’s Mileage Programme to start converting your Rewards Points into KrisFlyer or Asia Miles™. To enroll, please complete and return this enrolment form.
Please note that you are required to be a member of at least one of the participating airlines' frequent flyer / travel reward programmes prior to enrolling in HSBC’s Mileage Programme. You can redeem either KrisFlyer or Asia Miles at 2,500 Rewards points per block of 1,000 miles.

An annual Mileage Programme fee of S$40 (subject to GST) applies. Alternatively, you can redeem 9,000 Rewards points for the Mileage Programme fee waiver.
