Technology entrepreneur and investor
Board members of Dell Medical School at University of Texas and National Research Foundation
Peng T. Ong first worked on AI in graduate school. Today he builds and backs AI-enabled companies that reimagine how we will live.
He invests in early-stage technology startups across Southeast Asia. As a serial entrepreneur, he has built and scaled companies (including Match.com, Interwoven and Encentuate) to more than USD 1bn in annual revenue.
His focus on healthspan – the years lived free of serious disease - grew out of his own experience of fragmented healthcare. He champions deploying AI to solve problems in prevention, early detection and “squaring the curve” of decline, using practical, evidence-based care that draws on lifestyle, data and technology.
Peng serves on the Executive Advisory Board of Dell Medical School at the University of Texas. He has previously served on the boards of SingTel and Singapore’s National Research Foundation.
