Medical expenses for personal accidents

Covers up to SGD3,000 for medical expenses such as dental treatment, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and dengue fever.
Hospital and surgical expenses

Pays up to SGD120,000 for your foreign domestic worker's hospitalisation and surgical expenses including 90 days pre and post hospitalisation expenses for diagnostic services and treatment.

Daily wages and levy reimbursement

Covers up to SGD1,800 of your foreign domestic worker's wages and levy for up to 60 days in the event of hospitalisation.
Option to reduce co-payment hospitalisation and surgical expenses

Choose to reduce your co-payment from 25% as mandated by Ministry of Manpower (MoM) to 10% or 0% for eligible claims that exceed SGD15,000.

Apply for or renew your foreign domestic worker's work permit after purchasing MaidPlus.

Step 1: Purchase MaidPlus

Select 'Buy now', then on the next page, choose your start date¹ and plan type.

Once your application is approved, MSIG will send the data to Ministry of Manpower ('MOM')².

Step 2: Apply for or renew your foreign domestic worker's work permit online

Once the data has been sent to MOM, you can visit the Work Permit Online page³ at MOM's website to apply for or renew the work permit.

Complete and submit all the required documents in PDF format.

Step 3: Receive new work permit card

MOM will deliver the new work permit card to the registered address 4 working days after the foreign domestic worker registers and gets the documents verified.

¹ Select policy date as 1 day after the expiry of the existing work permit for existing foreign domestic workers.

² Applications received by MSIG by noon will be sent to MOM on the same business day. Applications received after noon or on non-business days will be processed on the next business day.

³ MSIG's policy numbers for the security bond, personal accident and medical insurance will be shown on MOM's portal at the Work Permit Online page.
