Who can apply?

To use our securities trading services, you must meet both of the following criteria:

  • Be aged 21 years or above
  • Hold an HSBC Premier or personal banking account
 

Fees and charges

Securities transfer[@gst-applicable]

Inward transfer of securities are free of charge. Direct registration system shares are not accepted for transfer-in.

Outward transfer of securities are subject to the following fees, plus prevailing GST for Singapore residents:

  • 0.5% of the securities value based on the previous business day's[@business-day] closing price
  • An additional stamp duty[@non-bank-entities-fees] for Hong Kong securities

Other fees and charges

A depository service fee is imposed by American depository receipt (ADR) agents. The amount and frequency of the charge differs for each ADR. Please refer to the ADR's prospectus and deposit agreement.

We won't charge you any custody fees.
