Helping you to meet your payments
Our Auto Top-up service lets you keep your HSBC current or savings account at a minimum balance that you set. Once it dips below that amount, we'll top it up from your Personal Line of Credit. This way, you always have enough funds for your debit transactions.
What you'll get with Auto Top-up
- Set your minimum account balanceChoose the amount at which we automatically top up your HSBC current or savings account, when the balance falls below the minimum balance set.
- Link up to 10 bank accountsYou can use it with up to 10 HSBC current or savings accounts.
- Reduce failed debit transactionsAvoid failed GIRO, cheque and debit card transactions due to insufficient balances on your HSBC current or savings account.
- No service fees
Enjoy the convenience of auto top-up at no service fees.
How does it work?
Let us know which HSBC current or savings accounts you want to link to your HSBC Personal Line of Credit. And set the minimum balances you want to keep in your HSBC current or savings accounts.
When the balance in your accounts fall below the minimum balance you've set, we'll top it up from your HSBC Personal Line of Credit.
For example, let's say you've set a minimum balance of SGD500, and your HSBC current account balance has dipped to SGD200. We'll top it up with SGD300 from your available credit limit.
If the available credit limit in your HSBC Personal Line of Credit was SGD5,000, you'll have SGD4,700 after the top-up. Personal Line of Credit prevailing interest rate will apply to the top-up amount.
Who can apply?
You can apply if you're an HSBC Singapore customer with a sole HSBC Personal Line of Credit account.
