Online banking registration on mobile

You can now complete your online and mobile banking registration on the HSBC Singapore app. This is the quickest way to register using your Singpass access or your photo ID (NRIC/MyKad/passport) and selfie for verification.

Please download the HSBC Singapore app and follow the onscreen instructions to register. For more details, here's how to register for online banking.

For your security, the HSBC Singapore app can only be used on one device at a time. If you’re planning to change your phone, please remove the current phone in your HSBC Singapore app before installing the app on your new phone.

You can then set up the HSBC Singapore app on your new device easily with your photo ID (NRIC/MyKad/passport) and selfie. For more information, please refer to our step-by-step guide to changing your phone.

Update Address

You can now update your addresses quickly and securely through HSBC Singapore app. You just need to follow these steps:

Log on to your HSBC Singapore app
In the 'Home' screen, tap on the 'Profile' icon on the top right corner of app
In the 'Profile' screen, tap 'Update my personal particulars'
In the contact details screen, select the 'Update Address' tab to update your details
Update residential or correspondence address as per requirement

Move money tab on the HSBC Singapore app.

Time Deposit

The fastest, simplest way to open a new Time Deposit account is through the HSBC Singapore App.

Personalized message alerts

Push notifications - Turn on notifications to keep updated on your account activities.
You will receive personalized messages with our latest offers, helpful reminders and announcements.

From September 2025, when you update your phone number or email address via mobile banking, we'll notify you of the changes by

(i) email; and

(ii) push notification (if turned on). If push notifications are not turned on, we'll send you an SMS.

From January 2024 onwards, we'll gradually use push notifications instead for the following SMS transaction alerts:

Interest credit to your deposit accounts (except for promotional interest)
Credit card purchase transactions

Log on to Support and select 'Chat with us'

If you previously opted out of SMS notifications, we'll keep you as opted out. But you can opt back in for credit card purchase notifications at any time. Simply fill in a transaction alert service form (PDF, 905KB) and mail it to us. Next, turn on push notifications on the HSBC Singapore app.

Enter the digital PIN to generate the security code

Balance transfer

Convert your available credit limit into cash. You can use the cash to help pay off your dues with other banks or use it as needed. The funds can be credited to your HSBC Current / Savings Account, non-HSBC Current / Savings Account, or to a non-HSBC credit card account.

To manage your daily transfer limits through HSBC Singapore app follow below steps:

Log on to the HSBC Singapore app.
Tap on Pay and transfer.
Tap on Manage transfer limits in More actions section.
Select from Own account, Payee's account or Bill Payments to change daily limit for respective account payments and transfers.
Enter your desired limit and tap on Change Limit to confirm.
