Things to know
Exchange rates
You'll know the foreign exchange (FX) rate you're getting before you confirm the transaction. An FX margin will apply if the transaction involves a currency conversion, including pegged currencies.
All conversions and FX rates that are used or provided are indicative only. We may change them at any time without notice, including same-day changes. The conversions and rates are only fixed once you've confirmed the transaction.
The conversion of any foreign currency may result in a gain or loss, depending on the exchange rate.
If any error occurs in our systems or the information provided due to market disruption, anomaly or any event outside of our control, we reserve the right to rectify the error or take appropriate action on a case-by-case basis.
Maximum limits
The maximum outbound and inbound limit for Global Transfers between your globally linked accounts and HSBC Singapore accounts is USD400,000[@max-daily-transfer-limit] (or foreign currency equivalent) per day.
Other countries and regions may have local limit restrictions. Check with your destination country or region for limit information.
Fees and charges
There are no charges for HSBC Singapore customers.
Getting started
Who can use this service?
Our Global View and Global Transfers service is available to all HSBC customers.
Global Transfers to your globally linked accounts is available on the HSBC Singapore app and HSBC Online Banking.
Global Transfers to other third-party HSBC accounts is available on HSBC Online Banking and the HSBC Singapore app through HSBC Global Money Transfers.
How to link your accounts
You must first link your HSBC global accounts via HSBC Online Banking so that you can view them in online banking and the app.
To link them, log on to HSBC Online Banking. Then select 'Account Services', then 'Add / Remove your country / territory', then follow the on-screen instructions.

If you're already registered for online banking you can log on and access Global View.
Not yet registered for HSBC Online Banking?
If you're an HSBC customer but not yet registered for online banking, you can do so now and start using Global View.
