Accessing your statements

How can I access my statements?

Once you've registered for digital banking, you can view, download, or print your statements for the last 12 months securely through the HSBC Singapore App or Online Banking. Statements older than 12 months, and statements for deactivated credit cards (e.g. lost, stolen, cancelled, blocked) aren’t available via digital banking. You can chat with us via the app or call our hotline for help, and we can share these with you via email or paper one-off. Fees may apply.

We no longer send encrypted statements and advices by email for current and savings accounts, investment accounts, mortgages and loans. These  statements can be reviewed as digital statements on the HSBC Singapore app and/or Online Banking, or can be sent to you by mail through paper statements (subject to fees).

Credit card statements are an exception;  we continue to send encrypted credit card statements by email. If you currently receive credit card statements by email, there’s no change to how you receive them although the password format is updated to not use your personal information for encryption.

If you're a Joint-AND customer, please note your statements will be sent by post to your registered mailing address.

If you prefer paper statements, you can opt in by calling our customer service hotline (paper statement fees will apply; please refer to Fees and Charges Tariff Document).

We’ll send you a push notification and email when your statement is ready. Please make sure your email address is up to date with us and opt in for mobile push notifications

Please refer to the Fees and Charges Tariff document (PDF)

How are statements delivered for joint OR accounts if account holders select different preferences (eStatements vs paper statements)?

Statement delivery for joint OR accounts depends on each account holder’s preference:

  • Both account holders choose paper statements: Only one paper statement will be sent to the nominated joint address.
  • Both account holders choose eStatements: Both will receive eStatements.
  • One account holder chooses eStatements, the other chooses paper statements (and vice versa): The account holder choosing eStatements can access their statements via the HSBC Singapore App and/or Online Banking. A joint paper statement will also be sent to the nominated joint address.

Troubleshooting

Investment Account & Wealth Statements

Why am I receiving my investment statements directly instead of through my Relationship Manager (RM)?

As part of our service enhancement and governance framework, investment statements will be sent directly to clients. This ensures timely delivery of account information and provides greater transparency and consistency in client communications.

Will my RM still be able to discuss my investment portfolio with me?

Yes. Your RM remains your primary point of contact for investment reviews, portfolio discussions, and banking needs. The change only affects how statements are delivered.

What happens if I close my investment account before the next monthly investment statement is generated?

Once your investment account is closed, you will no longer be able to access statements online. Your final statement will be sent by post to the most recent correspondence address we hold, so please ensure your address is up to date before requesting account closure to avoid any delay.

Is my Wealth Portfolio Lending (Lombard lending) account reported in my investment statement?

No, wealth portfolio lending/Lombard lending is classified as a banking account, so it does not appear in your investment statement. Instead, you’ll find its balance and transactions in your Composite Statement.

Listening to what you have to say about services matters to us. It's easy to share your ideas, stay informed and join the conversation.
